So, I don't know how many of you know that I changed my major halfway through my undergrad degree. Not soooo tragic, but I do have a few "lost" credits. Now my goal is to finish this degree without anymore changes so I can spend as little money finishing this as possible. Not so easy at a private university! Oh well...I love my school and I LOVE what I'm doing!!!
I am not going to teach when I grow up--I'm going to be a DOCTOR, hopefully an OB/GYN. My major is Biology with a Pre-Med focus. I am so, so, so, so excited about this major life change! It is very challenging both in classes and in balancing school and my family. Especially my Texas family--I'm so sad I missed the first birth of any baby in my family, but I will find some way to make it up to Amy, Jamie, and Cian. I'm also very sad about missing 1st birthdays and other family celebrations, but if everyone is still having babies when I'm practicing--FREE MEDICAL CARE FOR ALL MY SISTERS! (Of course, Lindsey and Pene you are now my sisters, too)
Okay, so I need to ask for lots of prayers, patience, and understanding. I will do my best to post short little blogs to keep everybody up-to-date with our stuff here. I know I don't have a good track record, but I will try.

William plays golf once a week with a youth golf group called The First Tee. We were invited to join through our parish church and as William attended events and practices we began to see what a big deal this group really is. Former President George Bush is an honorary chairman of the organization, Lee Trevino from the great state of Texas is a contributor to the organization, as well as Arnie Palmer and Jack Nicklaus. Wow! So, tonight, William was invited to the event which was a tournament to raise funds for the kids organization and to give a little speech about The First Tee. We sure don't have a shy one here! It was really fun, and Coach Ken said as far as he's concerned William can run for President. What a cool kid!!

Okay, I know we haven't posted in a while, so these are from last month, but it shows the puppies a little bigger. They were lots of fun, but now three are in their new homes which is REALLY nice for us. Six dogs was just too much! We still have the Lil' Boy, but it looks like he'll be going to his new house this weekend. I HOPE so--that would be a great birthday present for me.

So, this is Cia and Rose's room all complete. It was hard to get the whole room in the view, so we have Cia's side and Rose's side. Pretty much all the same setup except for Cia's curtain over her bed. They also have a wonderful view of the mountains out of their bedroom window.

Our beautiful Keilani Aloha had puppies in June with her gorgeous stud Milo Alexander. He really is one of the best looking Doxies I've ever seen. He is only 9 lbs. so, really quite small, but he has such definition and muscle tone and really nice big feet. He is a beautiful dog! Of course, Keilani is also a very pretty Doxie and is quite petite and has a wonderful temperament. The puppies thankfully got the best from each parent and are as cute as can be! They have their daddy's big wrinkly paws and their mommy's laid back attitude. They also are some of the best colors and patterns I've seen so, needless to say we are very happy with our litter.

So, for those of you who don't know, we have a teenager in the house now! This is obviously a very special birthday and Cia got a special present from Nana. As a toddler Cia would always run to Mom's room to dance with her beautiful musical dancing lady that my mom had as young girl. Well, Mom passed her on to Cia for her 13th birthday and the pretty dancing lady is now prominently displayed with pride in Cia's room.
The special gift
I love it!

Hope you have fun and feel like you can keep up with us a little more now that we have this. We wish YOU ALL were here--really, really!!
